Blend of Merlot and Sangiovese grapes grown on spurred cordon on tufaceous soils. Winemaking is separate for the individual varieties. Matures in steel and refines in bottle. With a deep and brilliant ruby red colour, it offers intense and persistent aromas on the nose, with floral notes of berries combined with tertiary aromas of bark, violet and exuberant spices, which give freshness to the wine. On the palate it is firm and persistent, but at the same time soft and fresh, with present but balanced tannins.
